We would like to welcome ESTA to the Technology Park and thank Andrew and Murray for showing us around and introducing us to the facility. This has been a significant year for the Park with the changing of the University team and the growth in people and buildings. The long awaited opening of innov8 café has been one of the many highlights.

It is very encouraging to see innov8 café opening. This is the networking heart of the Technology Park. The addition of a smart glass panel, iGlass, has made this into a high tech presentation and marketing environment and one that will set the trend and direction for the future. We are also working with a local service provider to ensure we have a wireless hot spot in the café area so people can “coffee and surf” in the Technology Park.

This is the first issue of the new format of the University of Ballarat Technology Park quarterly newsletter. The newsletter will be produced by the management of the Technology Park, located in the Greenhill Enterprise Centre. We hope all companies on the Park will contribute news items and distribute the newsletter to their staff...

Welcome to the Autumn 2006 Newsletter. The new year promises to be a busy time on the University of Ballarat Technology Park. The Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority new headquarters are well underway and should be ready for occupancy by August. Construction of the UBTP Café will begin in May and the alteration of office spaces at Greenhill Enterprise Centre into offices of reduced size will enable us to accommodate the high demand for occupancy. A new company,Tenerquo.com joined us in February and the plans for the office layout for PIVoD at the Global Innovation Centre are close to being finalised.
