Uniti moves to the University's Technology Park
8 November 2007 Ballarat District Nursing and Healthcare&aposs software development and application arm, Uniti, has moved to the University of Ballarat&aposs Technology Park. Uniti has designed, developed and marketed a range of software in connection with community care client management, for use within regional hospitals and community health agencies across Victoria and interstate. Carolyn Barrie, Chief Executive Officer of BDNH, indicated that its business unit Uniti had achieved outstanding success over recent years and had secured software licenses with 120 health providers. |

Technology Park Success
28 June 2007- Tim Holding, the Victorian Minister for Information and Communication Technology, will visit the University of Ballarat Technology Park today to celebrate a major milestone with IBM and welcome a new company, IR Gurus, to the Park. During his visit, Minister Holding also will speak about the economic impact of the Technology Park upon the local economy. According to a major report commissioned by the University, the University of Ballarat Technology Park contributes up to $273 million to the regional economy. |
