Centre for Regional Innovation and Competitiveness (CRIC) Survey Research Centre
CRIC is a business unit of the UB School of Business and one of its services is the conduct of market and academic research. Computer assisted telephone interviews enable surveys to be carried out. The Survey Research Centre can then collate and dissect data to the client’s specifications. The screen based system can instantly analyse the information by using software designed for the purpose. The software can randomly select its target audience. Clients request specific research for example, customer service data, an evaluation of government programs and policies or public perception of an entity.

The team located in the Global Innovation Centre form part of a global team who develop, implement and support GE’s Centricity ULTRA Laboratory Information System solution which has been implemented in over 9 countries around the world. Lateral Plains is a consultancy and project management company based in Western Victoria, with a focus on regional and rural businesses and communities. Expertise has been based on long association with regional ICT and telecommunications infrastructure and services, but has expanded over that time with regard to other areas of innovation and technology.
RAVComm is a business unit of Rural Ambulance Victoria, a major tenant on the Technology Park. RAVComm comprises a number of projects to support Emergency Services delivery. Projects include upgrading technology, installation of a new mobile radio network, development of a computer aided dispatch system (CAD), a state wide paging system and refurbishing operational centres with RAVcad and RAVnet.
